So yesterday after I wrote my blog, I ended up doing the unthinkable....I went back to bed for about an hour. I finally decided to face the world and forced myself out of the bed....I literally had to hurl myself out of the comfort of the Tempurpedic in order to do something contructive with my day.
I decided to go get a pedicure & it is a good thing I did as my toes looked as if Wolfman Jack had been gnawing on them as a late night snack. Afterwards I headed to the Hillcrest Farmers Market for some tasty organic salad ingredients and some East African food. I ended up buying some bright and sunny sunflowers to help brighten my day. Stopped by my friend Ghias' house or a little bit & then headed back home.
Fast forward to today....I have two job interviews today. I have been unemployed for about a month after having worked with my prior employer for nearly 5 years. I have to say that interviews are somewhat intimidating. In all seriousness, you are being judged & they may or may not like you. The job market is pretty tough right now & all I can hope for is the best. The best way for me to approach it is this way....if either of these positions is for me, then I that is where I am meant to be. If not, then that means that something more suited for me will come along!
