Rainy Day Adventures

Yesterday a good friend & I headed out to brave the rain in our usually sunny San Diego. There is a little bridge that I have always wanted to see & so we started there. We were lucky enough to see a beautiful & majestic hawk. He allowed us to get very close; although you can't tell by the picture posted.

Next we headed to the Little Italy Mercato where we just walked around and took in the sights & shared a birthday cake with a very happy lil 9 year old boy.

We finally ended up at Sunset Cliffs to see the oceanic splendor~the rain had dissipated & it did not seem as treacherous as one would have thought. Here is a pretty calm picture of the water, but what I found beauty in was this rusted gate. Much how I feel sometimes, worn & forgotten yet still strong & beautiful.

What will today bring? No one ever knows, but I do know that I need to get busy making some jewelry!
